During its “Let Loose” event on Tuesday, Apple swiftly introduced the next iteration of its tablet lineup. This included the unveiling of new iPad Pro and iPad Air models, along with the debut of Apple’s latest custom-designed silicon.
Apple has revealed its latest iPad Pro, boasting a remarkable Ultra Retina XDR display Apple and the cutting-edge M4 chip. The new iPad Pro is not only impressively thin and light but also packs a serious punch in terms of performance, making it a compelling choice for creative professionals and tech enthusiasts alike.
The standout feature of the new iPad Pro is undoubtedly its Ultra Retina XDR display, which utilizes state-of-the-art tandem OLED technology to deliver exceptional brightness and color accuracy. With a peak brightness of 1600 nits for HDR content and a nano-texture glass option to reduce glare, this display is designed to meet the demands of color-critical workflows.
Under the hood, the M4 chip powers this beast, offering significant performance gains over its predecessor. The 10-core GPU supports features like hardware-accelerated mesh shading and ray tracing, bringing desktop-level rendering capabilities to a tablet. Combined with the Neural Engine’s impressive AI prowess, the new iPad Pro promises to be a powerhouse for creative tasks like video editing and machine learning.

The new 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Pro will be available in silver and space black finishes in 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB configurations. The new iPad Pro starts at $999 for the 11-inch model and $1,299 for the 13-inch model. Availability in stores begin May 15. The Apple Pencil Pro is available for $129 while the Magic Keyboard, available in black and white finishes, goes for $299 (11-inch) and the 13-inch Magic Keyboard is available for $349.
Apple also revealed an exciting lineup update for iPad Air, featuring the all-new 13-inch model alongside the redesigned 11-inch version, both powered by the impressive M2 chip. This dual-size release caters to users seeking either maximum portability or a larger canvas for productivity and creativity.
The M2 chip, with its faster CPU, GPU, and Neural Engine, brings a substantial performance boost to the iPad Air lineup, making it a powerhouse for AI tasks and demanding applications. The addition of a landscape front-facing Ultra Wide 12MP camera with Center Stage enhances video calls, aligning perfectly with how users typically interact with their iPads.
Not stopping there, Apple has upgraded connectivity with faster Wi-Fi and optional 5G support, ensuring seamless connectivity whether users are at home, in the office, or on the move. The iPad Air continues to impress with a stunning Liquid Retina display, long battery life, and support for accessories like Apple Pencil Pro and Magic Keyboard.
The new 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Air will be available in blue, purple, starlight, and space gray, with 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB configurations. The 11-inch iPad Air starts at $599 for the Wi-Fi model, and $749 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model. The 13-inch iPad Air starts at $799 for the Wi-Fi model, and $949 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model. The new iPad Air models are available starting May 15th.
