Asus ROG Phone 5s launched with up to 18GB of RAM

Asus have officially unveiled their latest gaming phone the ROG Phone 5s and 5s Pro in Taiwan. The phone is yet to get an official global release date but as we wait, here are the specs you should expect if you are on the market for a gaming/powerful phone.

It comes with a 6.78″ FHD+ AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. Inside is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ processer coupled with up to 18GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1. Android 11 is pre-installed out of the box.

Over to the cameras, you get a 64+13+5MP triple rear setup and a 24MP front shooter.
All this is powered by a 6000mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging

Other features include a 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.2, under-display fingerprint scanner, dual front stereo speakers, WiFi 6, heat dissipation system and 4 microphones to help when gaming. The 5s Pro features a rear-panel display.

ROG Phone 5s price

The ROG Phone 5s price is set at approximately $1077 for 16GB+256GB, $1221 for 18GB+512GB while the ROG Phone 5s Pro has a price tag of approximately $1365 for 18GB+512GB. The phone is currently available in Taiwan and the price listed here is based on conversions from the Taiwanese pricing. Actual global pricing may vary.
