Google silently reveals the Pixel 5a 5G but limited to some countries

The Google Pixel 5a sees a successor as Google silently launches the Pixel 5a

Google recently revealed the Pixel 6 series but it’s not ending there. They have silently launched the Pixel 5a 5G via their Twitter handle as they did with the Pixel 6 reveal a few weeks ago. The Pixel 5a 5G see’s some minor improvements from last year’s Pixel 4a. It stands in the midrange sector but is limited to few countries for now.

The phone has a 6.34″ FHD+ OLED display with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The processer used here is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G 5G that supports mmWave bands among others. Comes with Android 11 pre-installed and support for 3 years of major Android and security updates.
To the camera, it features a 12.2MP main camera+16MP Ultra-wide camera dual rear and an 8MP front shooter.

You will get 6GB RAM with 128GB storage support only as of now. For the battery, it has a 4,680mAh capacity with 18W fast charging support and a Type C to Type C charger+cable included in-box.
Other features include Stereo Speakers and IP67 water/dust resistance rating
The phone’s price is set at $449 and is only available in the USA and Japan
