Microsoft announced the Surface Pro 8 at the company’s September Surface 2021 event. It presents the biggest upgrade to the Surface Pro lineup since the Surface Pro 3 in 2014. The Surface Pro 8 now has 120Hz refresh rate, thinner bezels, Thunderbolt 4 support and a new keyboard to house the Surface Slim Pen 2.
The Surface Pro 8 will use Windows 11 Dynamic Refresh Rate Feature, which operates similar to Apple’s high refresh rate ProMotion feature. It allows the display to fluctuate between different refresh rates depending on the tasks.
The Surface Pro 8 will ship with the option of the 11th Gen Quad-Core Intel Core i5 and i7 processors. The base model will include 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage, all the way to 32GB RAM and 1TB of storage.
