Microsoft had first introduced the Surface Pro X back in 2019, but it ended up being buggy due to the computer ARM-based architecture. At September’s Surface 2021 event, while Microsoft didn’t update the Pro X hardware, the company did introduce a WiFi-only model.
As before, you can configure the computer with either the SQ1 chip or SQ2 chip. The computer now comes with Windows 11 and 64-bit software emulation. This means app compatibility should be improved, hoping it will address the problems the 2-in-1 device had over the last two years.
