Oraimo has recently had crazy offers on many of its products especially their buds running for quite some time. As a company, they have really come strong in producing high quality tech items at a good price point. I managed to get the Rock TWS buds that have been retailing at Ksh1900 from Ksh3000. I have used them for the last two months and here is my review on them.
I ordered the buds from the oraimo website, and delivery took around 3days and was quite efficient.
From the unboxing, it comes with a user manual, a Type c cable, extra ear tips and the earbuds. Quite a package for its price point. The buds are black and come with the stemless design. They sit pretty nicely in the ears however they may not be as comfortable as their stemmed designs. You can comfortably work out with them as well. The buds come with IPX5 rating.

The buds use SBC and AAC for their connection design which means they pair quite easily with any android device. The come with the bluetooth 5.2 version. It gives you a 15m range connection distance. I tried to test the connection in an office space with walls and the connection was significantly reduced.
These set of stereo buds comes with a good base punch with warm tones for the pop lovers. They deliver quite a memorable and enjoyable listening experience. They also eliminate unnecessary ambient noise in the background.
The battery capacity is probably my favorite thing about these buds. It comes with 60mah for each of the buds and 400mah for the charging case. Oraimo promises 8hr from a single charge and total of 24hours with the charging case. If you are running low on power, 10mins of charge time gives you 50mins of play back. I have gone for more than a week with just the charging case and that truly speaks of its power
For controls, you double tap to pause/play and triple tap to summon Google assistant. The call quality comes two mic ENC that gives you clear calls though with a bit of lag.
Some of the cons are it takes quite a while to connect with your device. There is also quite a lag on their command settings.
On the gaming quality, you will notice a bit of latency on some of the fast shooting games although it can be managed. Oraimo also doesnt still have a dedicated companion app for your phone so you cant personalize the controls or customize around with the equalizer to personalize the sound. Theyalso dont have the auto pause function when you briefly remove them.
All in all, for its price point, I would definitely recommend these pair of buds. They are quite reliable check most of the boxes on what makes a good pair of buds: solid bluetooth connection, comfortable fit, good battery life and good sound quality. If you have a tight budget and would still like something solid, the the rock buds are your go to.
