Realme has announced the Realme C25Y in the Kenyan market. The first C series model to feature a 50MP AI triple camera system as a top choice of entry-level smartphone, and an addition to the best-selling C series.
In terms of aesthetics, realme C25Y has adopted the line aesthetic design for the first time, which visualizes the abstract aesthetics of line and presents the arrangement of “line” and “surface” by the design method.
The Realme C25 packs a 6.5” Large Display with an 88.7 screen to body ratio. Under the hood is the Unisoc T610 processer and comes with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB via included MicroSD slot.
To the cameras, the phone comes with a 50MP AI triple camera rear setup which comprises the main camera, macro lens and monochrome lens while the front features an 8MP shooter.
Everything is powered by a 5000mAh battery that can last up to 48hrs on standby and supports 18W fast charging. On the rear of the phone is where you will find a fingerprint scanner for security purposes and also have an option to use the face unlock which isn’t the most secure option out there.
Realme C25Y comes in Glacier Blue and Metal Grey colour options. For the price, the phone is set at Ksh 18,999 for the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. Realme hasn’t clarified if there will be any other variants yet.
