Realme has finally joined the PC market with the launch of the Realme Book Slim laptop targeting enthusiasts at a very fair price point. The laptop so far is only available in India but Realme might bring it globally soon. We have no news of if it will ever arrive in Kenya but hopefully, we shall see it. For sure the laptop packs a lot at a very pocket-friendly price as well as a slim design just as its name suggests.
It has a 14″ 2K display that features a 720p HD webcam. The processer options here are the Intel Core i3 and Core i5 11th Generation with Intel UHF Graphics for the Core i3 and Intel Iris Xe Graphics for the Core i5 version. You get 8GB of DDR4x RAM with 512GB SSD storage.
For your peripherals, you get 2 USB-C 3.2 Gen 2, a USB-A Gen 2 port and USB 4. You also get a 3.5mm combo headphone/mic port. A Fingerprint scanner is available for the windows hello sign-up.
The laptop is powered by a battery that can take you for 11hrs and juiced up by a 65W charger.
Other features include DTS Dual Speakers tuned by Harman Kardon, 100% sRGB Color gamut, WiFi 5/Bluetooth5.1 for the Core i3 model, WiFi 6/Bluetooth 5.2 for the Core i5 model, Backlit keyboard, Dual-fan cooling system and PC connect.
After the official introduction of Windows 11, some older PCs were cut off from the update due to some core issues but of this laptop, Realme promises that it is eligible for Windows 11

For the price, the Intel core i3 8GB+256GB has a price tag of $632 while the Intel Core i5 8GB+512GB has an s price tag of $807.
