On June 15 Realme held a launch event to unveil some of their latest products among the the Realme GT 5G, Realme Watch 2 and 2 pro and also the first AIoT product from their TechLife brand that is the Realme TechLife Vacuum. Realme GT 5G Specifications
The Realme GT features a 6.43 inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display which has 120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate. Inside is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5nm chipset with clock speeds of up to 2.84GHz and has the Adreno 660 GPU. There is up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS3.1 storage. Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 is pre-installed out of the box.
The camera is a triple setup which features a 64MP main camera, 8MP ultra wide and 2MP macro lens. The rear cameras can shoot up to 4K@60FPS videos and supports ultra steady videos. The front features a 16MP wide angle shooter with capabilities of recording up to 1080p@30fps. The front camera also supports super nightscape for low light photography situation.
The battery on the Realme GT 5G has 4500mAh capacity which supports 65W Superdart charging and they have made sure to include the charger in box.
Other features include 3.5mm headphone jack, dual 5G mode, NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, USB Type C port and WIFI 2.4/5.0GHz
Realme GT 5G pricing and availability
The phone will be available on sale from June 21. The 8GB/128GB will start at €369 exclusively on AliExpress while the 12GB/256GB will be exclusive to Amazon prime day and will cost €499. The sale for the 8GB variant will start on June 21 and end on June 22 while the 12GB variant will start on June 21 and end on June 22. After that the price will go back to €499 and €599 respectively. The phone will be first available in Europe before heading out to other continents but as we know they had already unveiled the phone in a few countries.
