The Realme GT Explorer Master Edition has been announced globally adding to the GT family. This phone is said to be a flagship killer of 2021 both for hardware and pricing. Its design specifically looks a bit unique from the glossy finish we are used to and here they have sort of made a briefcase-style finish on the rear giving it a more premium look.
Realme GT Explorer Master Edition specifications and pricing
It has a 6.55″ FHD+ Super AMOLED curved display with 120Hz refresh rate and 480Hz touch sampling rate. Inside is a Snapdragon 870 processer coupled with up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The phone comes with Android 12 pre-installed out of the box.
To the cameras, you get a 50+16+2MP triple rear setup camera and a 32MP front shooter. Everything is powered up by a 4500mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging.
More features include an In-Display fingerprint scanner, dual stereo speakers, linear motor, VC liquid cooling and NFC.
Moving on to pricing, the phone is priced at $499 for the 8+128GB variant and $549 for the 12+256GB variant. No news of availability locally and so far Realme hasn’t introduced any flagship locally so this might not come to the Kenyan market.
