Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and Samsung buds 2 officially launched

The much-awaited Samsung Galaxy watch the Galaxy Watch 4 are now official after being teased for a while now.

Both the watch and the buds have seen a lot of leaks before the D-Day today but for the watch, we had already known some of its software features during the MWC event of 2021 where they officially showcased WearOS powered by Samsung.

Galaxy watch 4 specifications and price

There are two versions the Samsung galaxy watch 4 and Watch 4 classic edition. The basic model comes in 40mm and 44mm while the classic versions have 42mm and 46mm variants.

Both have a Super AMOLED full-colour always-on display. The basic model features Gorilla glass DX+ protection while the classic Galaxy watch 4 features Gorilla glass DX.

You get 1.5GB RAM and 16GB storage. For power, they have a 247mAh capacity battery that charges wirelessly.

A watch is something you will have on you daily which means it needs to be ready for daily tasks. Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 has IP68 water and dust resistance.

The galaxy watch 4 comes with WearOS powered by Samsung breaking out from TizenOS from previous Samsung watches

It features a body composition measure tool that allows you to measure skeletal muscles and body fat percentage directly from Watch 4.

The watch 4 supports LTE connectivity via E-SIM letting you use data dependant apps easily without the need for your phone close to you.

The watch 4 starts at $247 while the classic Galaxy Watch 4 will start at $349. Both will be available from August 27.

Galaxy Buds 2  specifications and price

In January there was the Galaxy Buds pro and now we have the Buds 2. They come with some very interesting specs on paper.

They come with active noise cancellation and natural ambient sound.

Some other key specs for the buds 2 include 2-way dynamic speakers, 3 mics, QI compatible quick and wireless charging, machine learning-based solution and up to 20hrs of playtime when using Active noise cancellation.

Samsung promises a 5-minute charge will give you 1 hour of playtime. The buds feature 61mAh battery capacity while the case features 472mAh battery capacity.

You can control them via the android Galaxy buds app or the Galaxy buds app for PC

The Samsung Galaxy buds 2 starts at $149 and will be available from August 27.
