What to expect from the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 Launch

Samsung is set to unveil its highly anticipated devices for 2025 during their Galaxy Unpacked event on January 22nd, starting at 9 PM EAT. As we’ve seen in previous launch events, this is where Samsung typically unveils its flagship device for the year.

What to expect

The latest device rumored to be the Galaxy S25 series is what we can expect Samsung to launch during their January event. This will comprise definitely of three models, the base modes, the plus model, and the Ultra model.

AI and Chipset

With AI becoming a key focus in the tech industry, we expect Samsung to significantly enhance its Galaxy AI features, building on improvements from previous models.. The latest chip being the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite, Samsung will not be left behind with the trend and expect some great performances from the latest devices.

Software

OneUI 7 has been in beta for some time, and during the January launch, we expect it to officially transition to a stable release. This version promises improved customization options, a streamlined user interface, and enhanced integration with AI features.

Galaxy AI

Wearables

The event could not have been completed without a touch of the Samsung wearable market. We’ve previously heard rumors about the Galaxy Ring, and there’s speculation that Samsung could showcase an updated version alongside its new smartphones. Additionally, we can expect to see updates to their Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Buds lineup.
